Collaborative Opportunities for Raising Empowerment, Inc. (CORE) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose primary vision is to empower Filipino professionals as a collective body in the United States. It also seeks to provide an avenue for socio-economic involvement to build a stronger Filipino American community.

CORE's vision is organized exclusively to create a network for Filipino Americans to: (1) foster leadership within the community, (2) enhance personal growth, (3) encourage interaction among various community groups through event discussions, and (4) mentor future Filipino American leaders by discussing ideas and experiences. CORE is proud to announce the next installation of Write to Our Culture, a performance showcase fundraiser featuring artists of Filipino and Filipino American descent.

The 9th annual event in the series will be held on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 8pm at Arthouse Productions in 1 McWilliams Place, Jersey City, NJ 07306. Proceeds from the event will support initiatives for the READ Philippines Program.
